“Helping, fixing, and serving represent three
different ways of seeing life. When you help, you see life as weak. when you
fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole. Fixing and
helping may be the work of the ego, and service the work of the soul.”
― Rachel Naomi Remen

LifePlay House team members are doing the work of the Soul… they empower people and organizations.  They see life as whole.  Nothing needs to be fixed and no one needs to be helped because they are perfect just as they are. Each team member celebrates and appreciates the creative genius in each other and in our clients. They love to serve and serve to love.

Facilitators and Administrators

Our Team is comprised of certified, skilled facilitators who create, develop and lead PlayShops and Life-Skill Classes. They are supported by gifted  administrators who are professionals in their fields.  Our team members are passionate about demonstrating creative principles in their own lives and maintaining a consciousness that appreciates and intuitively understands the creative genius within all people.

Meet Our Facilitators

Facilitators are the life-blood of LifePlay House.  They play a key role in serving our clients. They honor the powerful meaning of facilitation by encouraging and nurturing group members as they question, share, explore, and progressively deepen.  Facilitators seek to engage the group in attaining clarity from within themselves – through the vehicle of “intentional play.”  They respect the wisdom unfolding within each person and maintain a group atmosphere that is safe, caring, enriching and buoyant.

Mary Breckenridge, Facilitator

To know Mary is to know Love.  She is an astonishing artist, (visit our Shop to see her work), a lover of knots, and a blessing to every animal and human she meets. She gives her heart, her gifts, and her gentle soul in service to all who are lost, hurt, abandoned, abused, or who simply call out to her. “Conventional” has never described Mary’s lifestyle. As a child, she spent much of her time in the back country, living in tents and traveling via a string of pack horses, while her geologist father mapped the rocks.  Later, she traveled with the circus, putting up the big top, and caring for tigers and elephants. Presently, she, single-handedly, runs and manages a small animal sanctuary. Throughout all these life experiences, animals have been the common thread, the unwavering passion in her life.  In her artwork, she takes a fleeting moment and distills what is permanent, thus, creating for the animals that she draws, a platform from which they may speak for themselves.  To be in her presence is so joyous, so heart-opening, and so much fun that you cannot help but feel like a beloved child.  And, each of her animals mirror that rare, unconditional love.

“And I said to my body, softly, ‘I want to be your friend,’ it took a long breath and replied, ‘I have been waiting my whole life for this.'”  –Nayyirah Waheed        Katherine (Kat) Partch, M.A., Facilitator
